As he falls for the beautiful and mysterious Lise, he is swept away with the romance of the city. Featuring a memorable score of classic Gershwin hits such as "I Got Rhythm", "Liza", "'S Wonderful", "But Not For Me", "Stairway to Paradise" and orchestral music including the timeless title song, this is an elegant and glorious musical, the likes of which is rarely seen in the West End. Don't miss your chance to see what critics have called “plain gorgeous” and “vibrant” in the heart of London's West End.

The stage musical An American in Paris is inspired by the 1951 Academy Award-winning film of the same name that starred Gene Kelly and Leslie Caron. Set in newly-liberated Paris, American World War II veteran Jerry Mulligan arrives in the city with the hope of forgetting the brutalities of war and becoming a famous artist. He soon falls in love with mysterious shop girl Lise, but has to battle for her attentions alongside his two friends Henri, a French aristocrat, and Adam, a Jewish American songwriter. As this chance encounter threatens to change his life forever, the streets of Paris become the backdrop to a sensuous, modern romance of art, friendship and love in the aftermath of war.
